Sierra Club Long Island Endorsements.

The following list of those NY candidates recommended for endorsement was created by our friends at the Sierra Club Long Island, and is based upon each candidates’s environmental record and positions.

HealthyPlanet does not endorse political candidates, but we encourage our followers to become fully informed on all issues, and to vote according to your personal convictions.

HealthyPlanet is an all-inclusive, non-judgemental, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that promotes healthy, green living and a compassionate cruelty-free and environmentally conscious lifestyle. Through our many programs, radio show, social events and community outreach, we help others to make informed intelligent choices for themselves and the planet. In a world facing many urgent environmental issues, from loss of biodiversity and resource depletion, to climate change and the needed, rapid transition from dirty fossil fuels to clean, renewable energy, our goal is to educate and inspire people about the unique power and beneficial impact of plant-based eating as part of an overall body and planet-friendly lifestyle. So much of our nation's biggest killers, from heart disease to cancer, stroke, diabetes and more, are largely preventable... once you learn the power of your plate. One need not be vegan or vegetarian to benefit from the information we provide on Long Island and beyond, which is why all of our programs are open to all who have an interest in making a positive difference in their lives, and the world.
