Coronavirus, A Wake-Up Call to
  End All Self-Inflicted Pandemics

Bob DiBenedetto
HealthyPlanet’s President, Executive Director

Show Description:

Coronavirus: A Wake-Up Call

The coronavirus is a disease that has come about as a result of our society’s continued disconnection from the natural world, and our inability to direct our compassion toward ALL life on earth. If these attitudes and actions are not reversed, outbreaks such as COVID-19 are very likely to happen again and again. Our fate is in our hands. If we choose to act, not only will we reduce our risk of repeating this episode, but nature will return, the climate will stabilize and our food supply will be abundant. Seems almost too good to be true… but it is, and you can be part of the solution!

Join HealthyPlanet’s Bob DiBenedetto for a description of how the original act that caused this virus to jump from animals to humans is also responsible for:

– many other animal-transmitted viruses that have resulted in over 100 million deaths in the past century.

– much of the destruction of our natural world that in turn drives animals out of their habitats and into the human realm.

– contributing to those preexisting conditions that make us more susceptible to having more severe complications if infected.

– the dangerous form of pollution that weakens our lungs, therefore making us more likely to suffer more serious impacts from the virus, and more.

This show is a call to action. Knowledge is power, and each of us needs to ask ourselves if we’re ready to stop contributing to these needless, self-inflicted plagues. We know you are! Join us, and be part of the solution.
