Bob DiBenedetto: Racism 101, Climate Change, Preventable Disease: Urgent Issues, Government Inaction

Show Description:

Join HealthyPlanet’s Bob DiBenedetto for a discussion of systemic racism, climate change, preventable diseases, and COVID-19–some of society’s most urgent challenges whose respective experts agree have attainable solutions. You’ll hear about how our elected officials, despite that common knowledge amongst those in-the-know, have repeatedly responded with inaction, until that is no longer possible. As a result, the inflated costs, in terms of lives lost and economic activity forgone, eventually fall firmly on the shoulders of the American public.

Bob will highlight some of the recent manifestations of these challenges, as well as a 101 exploration of the existence of systemic racism in our society.
